casting call rejection

make shift plays
and better scenes
with a phat wide cast
in the company

we'll play them roles
we learned in school
from the jesus christ
of peter o'toole.
to the brown man
who's a f'n mongul.

rejection is hard. but it's just a part of our life. the only reason why it becomes hard is because of nafs. and the nafs is our greatest enemy "and the two sides between it"

lets seperate from the material and come closer to the real. what a cliche thing to say cos it's all relative. our experiences are unique, our stories are fragmented, our voices track out on scattered frequencies, our finger print patterns will never align.

and at the end of it all - when that person walks through the door and sits on the chair behind the gray backdrop. by the time he has smiled, i already know if he or she is even worth my time.

somewhere in Britain, Simon Cowell is smirking.

and my thunder thighs continue to grow.
